Mitch Germann

A global enterprise leader at the intersection of brand, business, and culture, Mitch Germann serves as Chief Business Development & Brand Officer at FleishmanHillard. In this role, Mitch acts as a strategic business partner, driving growth both within and beyond the firm. He leads global teams responsible for positioning, marketing, and pitching FH to generate demand, win business, and expand accounts. Additionally, he continues to provide c-suite counsel to high-profile brands at the forefront of retail, sports, and lifestyle culture. Before assuming his current role, Mitch held several leadership positions at FH, including overseeing the Global Retail, Sports & Lifestyle sector, serving as a Client Experience Director, and acting as a Global Client Leader. Prior to rejoining FH in 2020, Mitch spent four years at Nike as part of the global communications leadership team. During this time, he led global communications for Jordan Brand and later oversaw Nike's North America media relations team. His work with Jordan Brand and Nike included managing communications programs on the ground in Beijing, Guangzhou, Paris, Shanghai, Taipei, Tokyo, and Turin. In an earlier stint at FH, Mitch led the San Francisco creative and digital practice group and served as General Manager of FH Los Angeles. He led the agency's work with clients like Electronic Arts and Fitbit, and provided strategic counsel to renowned brands including Bose, Levi's, NBC Sports, USA Swimming, and the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee. Notably, he supported multiple brands in activating sponsorships at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games and the 2016 Rio Summer Olympic Games. Before joining FH, Mitch directed communications for the NBA's Sacramento Kings and the University of Kansas Athletics Department.
