Lucy Yurek

Lucy joined FTSE 10 Rio Tinto in May 2022, with a remit to improve external trust and understanding, and aid culture transformation, following a major reputation issue in Australia, which put the firm's social license at risk and prompted a strategic refresh. She leads a diverse global team that's responsible for brand and communications. 

Prior to Rio, Lucy spent 13 years at HSBC, living and working in Hong Kong, Dubai, New York and London - in Communications leadership roles. Before HSBC Lucy worked for the UK's most talked about retailer, Marks & Spencer Plc. She began her career at FTI Consulting.
