Kirsten Kutz

Kirsten Kutz is Communications Director for the Middle East, Türkiye & CIS for GE Aerospace. She leads reputation and thought leadership, media relations, public affairs, and culture communications for the region, and works closely with the brand team on regional marketing campaigns. She is a skilled storyteller and an expert at bringing context, content, and language together to create communications with tangible business outcomes. Prior to her current role, Kirsten led communications for the Middle East & North Africa for GE Corporate. She was responsible for strategic planning and execution of media engagement, events, partnerships, and social media presence. In addition, she supported executive communications for the global President & CEO of GE International Markets. Kirsten has more than 15 years of experience. With GE, she led communications for the company's software business in MENAT and Innovation Communications for the region, focused on advanced manufacturing, the industrial internet, and the entrepreneurship ecosystem. She joined GE in 2010, supporting culture and executive communications. Prior to GE, Kirsten worked in Los Angeles at Burson-Marsteller Public Relations, in the firm's Brand Marketing practice. Kirsten attended the University of California, San Diego, where she graduated cum laude with a BA in International Studies – Linguistics & East Asian Studies. She is a global citizen, having lived in the United States, China, the Middle East, and Europe. She enjoys dabbling in languages, and has studied Mandarin, Spanish, French, and Arabic. She currently lives in Dubai with her husband and two children.
