The brands Tork and Libresse launched the campaign "Free Period care products in Schools – A Basic Right" to highlight how the lack of access to menstrual products impacts students' security and education. The goal was to spark debate and encourage more schools to offer free menstrual products. In collaboration with the Swedish National Union of Students, students' perspectives were brought to the forefront for the first time through a report that revealed 73% of menstruating students would feel safer with access to free menstrual products, and 49% had missed lessons due to menstruation.

The campaign included a petition gathering 1,700 signatures, targeted mailings to school leaders, and media outreach reaching 45 million people with over 40 press mentions. The campaign's landing page attracted 25,000 visitors, and thousands of students made their voices heard through comments on social media. A key milestone was achieved when the Liberal Party, using the campaign's data, proposed free menstrual products in schools, bringing the issue to the political agenda. In a follow-up survey of headteachers, eight out of ten schools now reported offering free menstrual products to their students. The discussion continues, and the campaign has now been launched in Denmark and Norway.
