Dena Vassallo

Dena Vassallo is the CEO and Founder of SOCIETY.

SOCIETY is an independent female-founded, owned and led marketing communications agency. We are champions for those that are positively shaping the societies in which we live, work and play. Dena’s goal is to leave everything and everyone - clients, employees, the communications industry, and society - in a better place than she found it. This has cemented her status as a pioneer in her field. With 20 years of international experience at some of the world's largest and most influential communications agencies, Dena brings enthusiasm and passion to everything she does. She believes she is one of the lucky ones, for she does something she loves. In 2020, Dena was appointed as a Green Adelaide board member by the Minister for Environment and Water. The board leads the transformation of metropolitan Adelaide into a world-leading, sustainable, green and climate resilient city. She is also the former Chair of She Creates, which inspires and addresses key issues facing women in the creative industry. Most recently, Dena joined Global Women in PR as an inaugural Committee Member for Australia, and Deputy Chair on the Council of Governors at Walford Anglican School for Girls to continue to empower the next generation of women leaders. Dena was also awarded CPRA PR Leader Bronze 2024 and included in the B&T Women In Media Power List.
