Femke Baudoin
Communications Director Middle East, Turkey and Africa , Boeing
Femke Baudoin is Boeing's communications director for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META). In this role, she is responsible for the company's overall communications in the region. This includes building and protecting Boeing's reputation and brand as well as informing and engaging external and internal stakeholders in support of key business priorities. Femke brings more than twenty years of global communications and public affairs expertise to the business and a track record of creating powerful corporate content. She has been working and living in the Middle East since 2010. Before joining Boeing in 2021, Femke was head of communications Middle East, Egypt and Iran for BASF, the world largest chemical company, and led the marketing and communications function of the Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA). She also worked for twofour54, the media and entertainment zone established by the Government of Abu Dhabi. She spent six years leading the corporate communications function of Saudi Aramco in Europe, at its European headquarters in the Netherlands – her native country. She also spent a year working at Saudi Aramco's global headquarters in Saudi Arabia to support the establishment of the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (ithra), the flagship of Saudi Aramco's corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts. Femke started her career working in public relations agencies in Brussels, Belgium and Milan, Italy focusing on public diplomacy, advocacy and financial communications. She holds master's degrees in European Studies and Journalism and a postgraduate agree in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University – School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
