Dara Busch

Dara A. Busch is the North America CEO of Havas Public Relations, overseeing Havas Red and Havas Formula. With her visionary leadership, she drives the agency's new service model, merged media, and spearheads strategies for growth, acquisitions, and client support across North America. Her deep understanding of the evolving PR and social media landscape has positioned her as a forward-thinking leader in the industry. Dara is focused on identifying market shifts and new opportunities, consistently delivering impactful, ROI-driven results for clients. Prior to Havas, Dara was Co-CEO at 5WPR, where she helped transform the agency into a global powerhouse. Under her leadership, 5WPR grew its revenue from $15MM to $62MM in under a decade and earned numerous industry accolades, including multiple Stevie Awards and recognition as a Top 50 Global PR Agency. Dara was named Woman of the Year: PR and Marketing by the American Business Awards and has received other honors, including recognition as one of Campaign's 2023 US Inspiring Women. With over 25 years of experience, she is a trusted advisor, mentor, and client advocate who leads high-performing teams to deliver exceptional, long-term results. Dara holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations and theater arts and a minor in marketing from the University of Miami. She remains involved with UM through a continued relationship with the Dean of the School of Communication, and provides guidance and mentorship to recent UM graduates. Dara is the mother to three teenage children, and lives in the suburbs of New York with her family.
